RotorAgent
Predictive repair that cuts downtime by days

RotorAgent.ai — Privacy & Data Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Plain-English version. This is how we actually handle your shop's data — no fine print games.

RotorAgent is built by people who think quick, reliable repair of American industrial

equipment is in everyone's interest. Part of how we deliver that is by learning from

the real work shops do. This page tells you exactly what we collect, how we use it,

what we share, and the control you keep. If anything here is unclear, ask us directly.

1. What RotorAgent is

RotorAgent is a smart-intake and diagnosis-support assistant for electric-motor

repair shops. You submit whatever you have about a job — a photo of the nameplate,

condition photos, answers to a few symptom questions, and/or bench/field test

readings — and RotorAgent returns a first-pass diagnosis differential, an honest

read on whether the case is decidable now or needs a bench test, and the

recommended next step, for your expert to review. **The human decides; RotorAgent

supports the judgment, it does not replace it.** *(This version does not price or

quote — it is a diagnostic-support tool.)*

2. What we collect

Equipment & repair data (the core of the product). For each job you enter:

the job ID, nameplate data (make/model, HP, voltage, RPM, frame, enclosure, etc.)

typed or read from a photo you upload, condition photos, your answers to the symptom

questions, bench/field test readings (insulation resistance/megger, polarization

index, surge, winding resistance, RTD temperatures, vibration), any free-text notes,

and — when entered later — teardown findings and the confirmed root cause.

Your corrections. When your expert edits or confirms a draft diagnosis, we record

the original draft and the corrected version. This is how the system learns.

Account & shop data. Your shop name, login credentials, and basic usage timestamps.

What we do NOT require. We do not need your end customers' names, addresses,

phone numbers, or any payment information. RotorAgent is about equipment and repairs,

not people. *Note:* free-text fields (symptom, notes) are yours to fill — if you

happen to type a customer's name into a note, it will be stored as you wrote it, so

keep free text equipment-focused if you'd rather it not appear.

3. How we use your data

To run your RotorAgent. Your jobs are the memory that makes your drafts accurate.

When a new motor comes in, RotorAgent looks at your similar past jobs to ground its

first-pass — so the tool gets sharper the more your shop uses and corrects it.

To improve RotorAgent for the whole field. This is core to our mission, so we

state it plainly: **we use repair data and corrections across shops to improve the

underlying RotorAgent intelligence** — the diagnostic models, the failure taxonomy,

the accuracy of estimates. The goal is a shared, ever-improving knowledge base for

American industrial repair, so that hard-won expertise stops disappearing when senior

techs retire. When your shop contributes corrected jobs, you are helping build that.

How we protect you while doing it. Improvements are built from the technical

*patterns* in repair data — equipment types, failure modes, what fixes what, how long

it takes — not from your business identity. We do not expose your shop's name,

pricing rules, margins, or customer relationships to other shops. Another shop's

RotorAgent never sees your records, your prices, or who your customers are. The shared

intelligence is the engineering knowledge; your commercial information stays yours.

4. What we share

shops or to the public.**

not retained by them to train their public models under their commercial terms.

A current list of providers is available on request.

5. Your control

in a standard format.

identifiable records and account information.

to the shared intelligence layer, tell us and we will honor it; your own RotorAgent

keeps working from your own history either way.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized

RotorAgent personnel. Each shop's records are isolated from other shops' records in

our database.

7. Honest limits

RotorAgent produces draft diagnostic assessments for an expert to confirm. It is

not a substitute for teardown, inspection, instrument testing, or professional

judgment, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any draft. Final diagnostic and

repair decisions are always the shop's.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how we use your data, we'll

tell you — we won't bury it.
